You can lose a quarter on a game of slot machine but usually you lose a lot more on a hand of poker, so why is one legal and the other not in California? (aside from on Indian reservations).
Isn’t playing the Lottery 100% chance? That’s legal too.

I am planning a ladies monthly poker night, if we each put in twenty dollars and there are five of us, how should I split the chips up? What would be the denominations of the chips? Do you play till there is only one left with chips for the whole pot, or if its by denomination, can you split the pot at the end of the evening based on what chips everyone has?

I know there are 2,598,960 different 5 card poker hands but I don’t know how many would only contain a single suit.

There’s a tour company offering rides from Toronto->Niagara Falls for $25 if you don’t have a casino membership card, $0 if you do. Problem is, to get the free membership card, you have to be at the casino. So how do I first get there to get the membership card to get the discount for getting there?

Is there another tour company that offers very low cost or free shuttle service from Toronto to Niagara Falls?
